I definitely have a photojournalistic base. I love capturing the moment in the most natural way possible, without loss in the finer details or in their colors.
Do you travel?
Yes I do, and I love it. I have photographed weddings, in Connecticut, Buffalo, South carolina, and california. So let me know where your destination wedding is and I’ll get there if I’m available!
Do you use a second photographer for wedding days?
When needed I definitely shoot with a second photographer. But I have handled many weddings alone and know what I can manage alone. Sometimes a second photographer may only be needed to capture the couple getting ready at different locations.
Can we set up a meeting? Where are you located?
Absolutely, after you have contacted me, and I have availability for your date, I setup a video call to chat and discuss what I offer. I usually try to meet couples on week days in the afternoon or evening if possible.
Have you photographed at my venue?
There is definitely a good chance I have! I have been shooting weddings for 5+ years now and am familiar with many venues on long island, and even some in westchester county. If I haven’t, I usually scout the location beforehand to find beautiful places to photograph on your wedding date.
How long until we get our photos back? How many do we usually get back?
For Engagement Sessions and Lifestyle Sessions I try and get your photos back within 2 weeks. I know you may be using them for Save the Dates and announcements, so I try my best to get them back to you quickly.
For Weddings; I usually get you a preview (8-10) images within 2 days. The final gallery is delivered to you within 4 weeks! You usually get back around 800 or more High Resolution edited images from an 8 – 12 hour wedding day.
How long do you keep our photos for? Are they backed up somewhere? What happens if we lose them?
I tend to keep photos in the gallery for 1 year guaranteed for 1 year. After a year they may be removed, but the galleries will remain in secondary backup storage for longer. So if you need your photos in a couple of years and they’re no longer in your gallery, you can always come back to me for a copy.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes! If your venue requires me to send over my certificate of insurance I can happily provide it. I usually do this a month or two before your wedding or event date.
